ROLE: Sr Lead Design Instructor
LOCATION: Seattle
Spearheaded the instruction for the launch of the new design education program in the Seattle branch of the NYC based Flatiron School. Helped to grow the program, hired instructors, built out the studio, led students through the design thinking process with studio based UX/UI design instruction, helped them hone their soft skills both on design teams and in learning to work closely with industry partners to complete their sponsored projects.
Was exciting to be part of a growing design education program with small cohorts and a rigorous, tested curriculum and supportive job placements. Our first cohort had a student hired by IDEO and another by Amazon! ;)
